I am getting married in 2028 and am thinking about going shopping for my dress end of this year/beginning of next year. But the closer I get to going shopping, the less excited and more scared I feel. I have a very on/off relationship with my body and I am so worried I am going to hate how I look in everything and it's going to be a horrible experience. I am also plus sized and have heard so many horror stories about shopping for a wedding dress as a plus-sized bride.

Can anyone who had pre-shopping nerves help reassure me that it won't be awful?
