Knitting for olive merino and mohair

hello! I want to knit Blouse No. 1 by My Favourite Things using knitting for olive's merino and mohair.

However, I've never used mohair before and am very overwhelmed by all the possible colour-layering options. I want a colour combo close to this Uniqlo t-shirt I have, but I'm not sure what would be best. I'm confused about what colour to use for the merino and what to use for the mohair, since it seems that there can be a difference if swapped. Any suggestions would be much appreciated :)

I've included possible colour combo options that I think may be what I want, but ultimately, I have no clue

Help! Bottom of back darks creating a bump

This is my first time trying to alter something and i was given this thrifted denim dress. It’s way too big so i tried to take it in by doing darts at the back of the dress. I still need to take it in on the sides, but i noticed these pointy bumps at the bottom of the darts. Can I fix this? Help!
