Bikepacking - Favorite Tents

Hi folks, I’ve typically used my backpacking tent for bikepacking bc it’s very light, and super solid tent. Poles are long, but other than that it’s pretty great

I’m looking at adding a couple of more bikepacking specific tents in the future (shorter poles). Namely the Escapist from Sea to Summit, both the stand alone tarp and bug shelter to be used independently and one other S2S tent that’s heavier for fall camps

Does anyone have a particular favorite bikepacking tent they use and want to share why? No wrong answers.

*My backpacking tent is around two pounds, and I think the escapist setup is similar, but typical bikepacking specific tents look to be more commonly between 3 and 6 lbs. I also like the idea of gear lofts, adaptable flys for wet vs dry camping and quick pitch.. any other gear nerdy features you want to share

Thanks fam!

Portland dried camp coffee?

Hey folks, I’m on the hunt for dried coffee that can mix in with hot water on the trail. Usually there’s the occasional offerings by local roasters, and if you’ve come across some, especially in SE Portland, I’d appreciate the share!

I am familiar with instant coffee and have used the stuff in the past.. but I also know there’s some wonderful flavor in certain types of dried coffee that’s a little less common to come across

Garlic Yumm Sauce

Near 50th and Division? I divvied up some Garlic Yumm sauce; no way I’ll make it through the while thing myself.

Offered is repackaged 13oz jar, always refrigerated.

Because this is a cold product, I don’t mind a contactless delivery but to protect the item from spoilage.. be prepared to pickup item within fifteen minutes of when you’ll say you’ll be here. Otherwise I’ll have to toss out

(Repacking the share amount in a glass 13oz jar for you)

Gently Used Athletic Socks

Have a few pairs of pretty breathable Climalite socks from Adidas

They’re not all the same age; I replaced as some were worn out for a while. About four pairs of “no show” ankle and three of ankle. I believe these are a cotton poly blend

Comment if you have questions. All laundered and ready for use

Free Full Size Mattress

Free full size in great shape from pet free home. This was free to me, and 1-10 I’d say about a 7 in a soft to firm scale.

Mattress itself is in good shape, and includes a new waterproof mattress protector to go on top.

Pickup is near 50th and SE Division. No frame, just the mattress.

Comment if you’re interested. I’d like to raffle off for Sunday evening with pickup on Monday or Tuesday at the latest.

Borrowing Shimano Brake Bleed Kit

Hey folks! I'm swapping from mechanical to hydraulic brakes, and was hoping to borrow someone's bleed kit for a Shimano setup. Should have the gravity cup that sits on the levers.

Would be looking to install this week, preferably within the next couple of days. Thanks in advance!

ISO Bucket of Bark Chips

Any fellow gardeners in Richmond have some bark chips at theirs? I literally need just a bucket, maybe two, to use in very select areas.

If you have a free dump of those in your driveway or at your curb, that would be perfect! Thanks in advance.
