I feel like because they made fun of gameoverse, people are now hating on it and saying it's objectively this and that. I know some of you guys are gonna say "no even without that this is horrible the voice acting is horrible the animation is horrible the art style is horrible" but in my opinion everything about it seems exactly what it wants to be. the animation fits with the show, the voice acting fits with the tone, the character design fits and so on. it just seems like the point is to be a stoner show (idk if that's the word I'm looking for but you get the point)
I'm not defending them for making fun of gameoverse and it's a really dumb marketing move but I feel like you guys are overly defending glitch who probably couldn't care less. every hate thrown for the show seems to be valid criticism that people found and then cranked up to a thousand to just be hate, e.g "the character design could use some work communicating what the characters are" to "the character designs are literal pure shit" there is like barely anyone giving valid criticism and this genuinely harmful to the indie community, saying something is objectively shit not even because of them mocking gameoverse but just because of what the final product is makes people see that and worry about THEIR indie show that's most definitely also made by a few people like chimptopia who's good enough at voice acting and good enough at animating for example, cause it seems "good enough" isn't good enough lately and we need high quality animation and big names and Michael kovack
so many people are sheeps and so many people are "objectively correct" it's sad. if you don't like the show it's okay it's just not for you then. and again I dont mean it's free from criticism. but what y'all think
not in a "write a script, storyboard, voice act, etc" way, I mean externally, if you're entirely starting from 0. I've seen people animate themselves and ask for voice actors who'd be willing to do it for free, but how do you eventually gain money to pay these people and support your show itself? I'm guessing YouTube monetization isn't enough, when should you start selling merch or deal with kickstarters and shit? sorry if it sounds like I'm literally asking people the entirety of how this whole thing works but y'know
in the fader documentary he was talking bout some ADHD and or bipolar iirc, if he's actually diagnosed that'll be like a nice representation I think.
I saw half of the general consensus saying yes and half saying they're out of style, what y'all think?
I just got rejected from college, I feel bleak and I don't know what to do, but eardrummer keeps pushing me forward and inspires me to work by myself without needing college. I just finished my animation without needing school and I'm proud of how it turned out, thanks che
today, while playing PUBG I got angry and accidentally said "f*ck you Xavier" and "suck my pen*s".
I just.. I really didn't mean it, it was in the heat of the moment, and I truly regretted it and I'm sorry okay.
.
Xavier, you know how much I mean to yuo.
