I will start by clarifying that I have only had two types of Artisan pads before - first the Shidenkai many years ago when I had no idea what I was doing, and then the Hayate Otsu v2. I have had three different Otsus, and have been using this pad for the past four years or so, maybe five. I had an Aqua Control Plus before my first Otsu, but that was when I was playing mainly Valorant.

I play Rainbow Six Siege almost exclusively, and will probably start to get back into CS soon.

What are the other Artisan pads like, compared to the Otsu? Am I missing out, or are there (in your opinion) better pads from Artisan, specially for an fps like Siege?

idk if the spoiler is needed here but, obviously SR lost in the GRAND FINALS of SLC, which is insane for a number of reasons, the most prominent of which being we didn’t even think they would qualify.

what sticks out to me is the hate Canadian is getting under HIS OWN TWEET. bro just lost in the grand finals after leading his team to qualify for a major nobody thought they would qualify for, then make main stage for the first time since picking up Spoit, then shock the world by beating the super team of G2 and the insanely talented roster of Twisted Minds.

we have people telling him to “get the fuck out of PL” under his tweet, and clamoring for him to retire already because “he just holds his team back”.

there is honestly nothing worse than using positivity/reputation as a weapon in this sense - saying “you are one of the best of all time bro but it’s time to hang up the cleats” is so much more negative than telling someone to just retire honestly. it is passive aggressive, patronizing behavior that has no place in this community, especially under someone like Canadian’s post.

the majority (if not entirety) of these people genuinely don’t even understand the game enough to realize his impact. it is almost like all they know is what yardy says in his videos or what jynxi says about a low number of kills.

I said this when we entered playoffs, and I will say it again.

Yeah, this is probably heartbreaking for SR at the moment; but OBJECTIVELY, this has been an incredibly impressive run for SR. The haters have been proved wrong, time and time again. This SR team showed they can be one of the best teams in the world, and a few weeks ago we didn’t even know if they would make it to damn major!

They worked hard and showed so much resilience through the adversity they fought through not only to get to the major but to get to the finals.

It’s really only up from here - obviously things can change; but this represents the heights this team can reach. What a fucking tournament from Shopify - expectations were heavily exceeded. They should be incredibly proud of making it this far with all the adversity they had to go through. DZ is nuts.

But to the Shopify fans, it’s all good - this is insane progress.

and to the haters, what happened ? i thought canadian could never lead a team to the grand finals? i thought spoit was washed and/or was never actually good ? i thought supr was a terrible coach ?

edit : i made a post before the playoffs stating that both SR and TM should be insanely proud of the progress they have made, win or lose their respective quarter final games. obviously, both won their games. for SR especially, regardless of what happens in the grand final, fucking appreciate the shit out of this and smell the roses. i know the players will, but for the fans, regardless of what happens, this team has shown so much resilience in the face of adversity - it is truly remarkable. the growth that has been displayed is tremendous. it’s only up from here. win or lose, this event showed everyone, especially the haters, how hard SR has been working and how good they truly are.

Everyone saying “oh they haven’t proved anything yet” and “oh it’s not impressive they farmed CNL teams” - clearly not.

I would love SR to win - much more than anyone else this tournament (SR has arguably proved the haters wrong already, regardless of what happens from here, but that’s a different post). But if they can’t win, G2 winning has got to be second for me. It’s a strange idea, since one has to beat the other; but, I genuinely think that if Shaiiko can fix his mental in big games and finally win something other than EWC, he’s going to be truly unstoppable.

He’s in many goat conversations, but it all falls short because he only has one major win (and all the EWC’s - he’s a rich man, but I doubt that’s enough for him). If G2 wins this, I think it sets them up for a string of wins towards Invite. If they can beat Faze, that is.

This is mostly for SR, but I think it applies to TM as well - this tournament represents a huge step up for both teams. Again, TM is very different as they aren’t the “super team” people consider SR to be, but they have done considerably well here. Even if both teams get 2-0’d first round of playoffs, what they objectively have accomplished at SLC is very impressive, and a great sign of what’s to come.

Especially if we look at SR - the haters will say “yeah but it’s just because they had an easy schedule against CNL teams” - I guess bro. They put up a fight against Faze, beat VP, smoked an Enterprise team that is in the playoffs… Spoit has been playing lights out, literally the third highest rated player in the tournament with the highest kill differential. Yes, the haters will say “well that’s because he just farmed CNL teams” - to which, again, I guess bro. If you take away those games he is still top ten in the tournament; that argument is just so ridiculous, but I digress.

Win or lose, SR’s performance here has been one of hope for the future of the org in this scene - they are one of the most criticized teams in the league with some of the most criticized players in the league (if not THE MOST criticized players), and they locked in when it mattered, qualified to SLC despite a horrible kickoff, made it out of Phase 1, and comfortably made it into the Top 8/playoffs.

This is an absolute win for SR and a sign of what is to come from this team, instead of the usual bombing out early in the tournament. The same applies for TM, but the discussion is a bit different since they are newer/dealing with less expectations as SR. So for the SR fans - there is hope! No matter what happens tomorrow, the players can be proud of the progress they have made.

What is the deal with partnered orgs and skins ? I thought typically when an org gets partnered they are then in roster of teams that release bundles and such

Is the game right now against Enterprise elimination for SR ?

A lot of players and teams have a lot of haters; however, there are a few that have garnered exponentially more haters than the others (Canadian, Spoit, Ashn maybe). What do we think is the reasoning for this hate? Is it because someone like Canadian has won two Invitationals? Is it because he has been here for a long time, so people think someone younger or more active deserves his seat, similar to what people say about Fernando in F1? I know that Canadian was especially aggressive in his early career and talked a lot of shit, but it just seems like the community loves to jump on people like him and Spoit whenever they can. There must be a reason behind most of it. It’s not the same, but when G2 had their prime, was someone like Pengu despised on this sub by so many?

TLDR - M80 members are playing with scumbags

I just got out of a game in champ/diamond lobbies, where the first or second round my teammate (who was comm banned but I unbanned him), got upset that I waited for fenrir mine to go off to swing someone. He then spend the entirety of the rest of the game berating me and my teammates, calling me and them f****** and r****** and r****** f******. He was very upset that I waited for the fenrir mine to go off and get the kill, and claimed that “I need the enemy to be blind to kill them because I am so fucking terrible at the game”. This went on for a few more rounds - essentially him saying that we all don’t deserve to play ranked, and saying that “I know what all the windows in my house taste like” (insane lmao). When the game ended, he again said we all are god awful and should never play the game again since we don’t deserve it, and said that he is so much better than us, citing that he is playing the next game with a pro player. I won’t say their name, but they are on M80, and he is actually playing with him (if encounters tell us anything). Why would a pro be friends with anyone like this? Genuinely the most toxic person I have ever encountered in this game. And that is saying a lot, since I have been playing more than a few years.

If this isn’t the epitome of some of the hate that comes SR’s way, I don’t know what is lmao… we have an entire post bashing Supr and SR for muting during timeouts - not a single person even considered the fact that there could be a microphone or technical issue. Everyone instantly assumed that Supr just told them to mute up. Flash forward an hour, Supr posts on twitter that THE ADMINS TOLD HIM TO JUST SPEAK SINCE HIS MIC WAS BROKEN. Cannot make this stuff up man 😭

I’m sure this has been discussed at length a multitude of times on this sub (never when I have been active though). I just saw on twitter that Nyx has, once again, bombed out of a T3 ? T4 ? game/series and even left his teammates during the final rounds on a map or two (they were getting smoked, but regardless). This guy has just got to hang up the cleats at this point - it is genuinely saddening that he is wasting away even more years of his life, some would even say the best years, playing a game that clearly is not for him. hotan do not come at me like you did yardy please
