This is my first exposure to GI Joe:Extreme….May Cobra Commander have mercy on my soul…
Except for the first issue of the mini series, the books are actually in great condition.

I found these old promo posters.
American Entertainment was a mail order store and they heavily promoted books by this company - Adventure Publications. Any order from them included a poster/comic book from this company for a while. Adult me learned later that they were owned by the same person.
II recall enjoying these books when they came out. Adventures was about 7 or 8 people from different lands on a D&D style quest. The other books were Solo/origins of the members. All books were Black and White art.
The company was later bought by Malibu who Continued publishing these book - so did they still own them when Marvel bought Malibu?
Sadly it didn’t meet my expectations- it turned out to be 3 separate story.
Guy Gardner involved him going back to the school as a substitute teacher at the request of the school Principal. She was an old friend from when he was a teacher.
The Chris Mooneyham variant cover for the recent Skybound Reprint of Marvel GI Joe #14 - the Hama Files version.
I have the originals but the variant covers for all the issues they’ve reprinted have been amazing. This cover reminds me of a mix of Steranko Agent or Shields covers and old 1950s pulp stories.
Baron Ironblood, Black Major, Kraken, and most of the Red Shadows trooper are from Eagle Force.
Red Vulture and Red Wolf are from Skeletron.
Red Laser was frankesteined from a 25th Anniversary HISS Tank and an extra head and armorr from Skeletron
Captain Skip was from the 25th Anniversary Joes.
