Hammering dogs

Duty called. A farmer complained that he was losing calves so I got to the feedlot and did some work. Shot was 172 yards, scope is a rix dbh d6, and the gun is a custom 22cm

Introducing kids to thermal hunting

Two adjacent land owners asked us to remove rabbits from their community garden. I figured it was a good opportunity to bring my 7 year old son along. Cz 457 with a Rex silentium suppressor shooting cci standards. Shots were just about 50 yards.

Raccoon control

Raccoon control doesn’t carry the glamour that coyote hunting does. However it’s an often overlooked species when it comes to depredation efforts for chickens, ducks, geese, pheasants, and wild bird game species. I have several clients who have me rid their barn areas of raccoons as they make a mess of the horse hay and apparently horses are picky eaters. I would honestly run hounds if I could, however many of the landowners have young of the year livestock and that wouldn’t be a good idea. As always, I’m using rix optics, the rix storm s6r punches WAY above its price point while the dbh d12 is still the king of all thermal optics.
