I definitely could’ve handled that better by not tensing up, but we live and we learn. A year ago I would’ve been on the ground so this is great progress!

Hey ya’ll, I’m sure some of you will recognize the name Pork Loin. He passed this morning and honestly I’m not sure why. I woke up and he was out of his shell completely slumped over and showing every sign that he was dead. His temperature always stayed around 80 while his humidity was always 80 as well. He just got a water change and was being fed the best (naturallycrabby) every night. I don’t think I’ll adopt a hermit crab again because it just feels wrong. Gonna miss the little goober, rest easy Porky ❤️‍🩹
