Restaurant industry folks! I’ve been out of the game for a bit. I applied to a restaurant where I REALLY want to work a few days ago online. I know that physically going in with a resume is often a good move, but should I wait a bit after applying? I don’t want to come across as annoying or pushy. What’s the smart move?
$7 for two hours. $14 for four hours. It was zero before. Unbelievable.
Hello Des Moines folks! I’m not a local (I live in LA) but I’m visiting my mother for Mother’s Day next weekend. She’s 67 and works full time- on her feet 50 hours a week- in assisted living taking care of elderly folks with dementia. She needs something special so I asked her what she wants, and she said she wants to go to a nice restaurant and have a good steak.
Where would that be? It doesn’t have to be a steakhouse, but a great menu with good steaks is what I’m looking for! She lives in West Des Moines, but I’m sure a little travel is okay. I just want to make sure she gets what she wants.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
