Sold my copper!
Went to two different scrap yards and sold off what was left at my house. If you got the chance go sell that copper.

Have a bunch of this type of MV cable 500/750 kcmil but having trouble cutting past the insulation to get to the conductor. Any tips?
EDIT: For scrap
So my dad has a vintage mitsubishi vehicle he bought brand new in 1998. He had a loan on it with Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America, that company is no longer in business. Long story short my dad got deported in 2007 and took the vehicle with him still owing under $1,000 on the loan in CA. The vehicle was put on non-op before being brought out of the country. Time went by and my dad still has the vehicle parked in his garage in pristine condition. I am in California trying to get the vehicle back in the states but I can’t of course because it’s not registered and my dad doesn’t have the title due to lien.
What is my best option to being able to bring the vehicle back to the states? I know it’s messy but I feel like I’m just getting the run around from the CA DMV to Mitsubishi corp.
