Do we need to pay 2500 for a tiny scratch?
this happened earlier this day on a traffic. Our pick up has stopped after a car. We already stop but my daughter in the backseat dropped her mini fan, me and my husband (the driver) suddenly looked backed becuase of the sound it made. We dont know exactly what happened but we bumped into the car in front. We thought maybe his feet on the breaks was lightly put up because of looking back. The driver of the car get the pic of my husbands driver liscence for the accident report ti insurance. He said he will file a police report later, but did not call police on the spot. Now he sent a text message that we need to pay 2500 pesos for participation fee saying they need to repain the whole panel while there is only a scratch as small as a dot barely noticeable. do we need to pay it?
