Hyper pigmentation and hives appeared on my hands after a vacation is it just sun exposure or something more?
Rencently got back from a trip to a very sunny tropical area. These spots appeared in my “thumbpit” almost immediately after getting off the plane to my vacation destination. This is why I am uncertain if it is sun. I have a history of hypothyroid in my immediate family.
There are spots on both hands but mostly the one pictured. The ring I was wearing has created a visible line throughout it. It doesn’t blanch when pressed on. It doesn’t hurt or itch, but the hives that I have been getting on both hands in the same region do a little.
Any thoughts?
