Do you feel remunerated fairly for the work you do?

If so what books do you usually buy?

How many resources does the average person buy? I was just planning on doing U World, do people also pay for Pathoma, boards and beyond, nbme papers etc? How much money do all the prep materials cost?

Have decided I want to do step 1. Just wondering how long it would take? I’m 2 years postgrad from a UK uni

I’m a UK based doctor - trained in the UK with 2 years clinical experience.

Over the last few months I’ve been highly considering moving to the US - something I never even considered as a medical student.

Unfortunately the process seems incredibly difficult and convoluted for IMGs.

One main concern I have is my lack of US based clinical experience, I have no observership during university or any experience in the US.

There’s really no way I would take 2-3 months off work to go over to the US to observe. Does this essentially mean the idea of me working in the states is hopeless?

I’m considering taking the USMLEs and was curious how difficult they are relative to the MRCP?

Has anyone tried it? How did you get it? Thoughts? How much did it cost?
