End of July Spiti trip and monsoon risk?

I recently booked a Spiti Circuit trip that includes Chandratal for late July. I’m very new to North India and Himalayan travel, so I booked without knowing much about the region, mainly because there were very few spots left. After booking, I started researching and found a lot of information online about July being peak monsoon season, with risks of landslides, road closures, and travel disruptions, which has made me a bit concerned. The trip is non-refundable, so cancelling isn’t really an option. Has anyone here travelled to Spiti and Chandratal during late July or early August? I’d love to hear about your actual experience on how the road conditions were, whether there were significant delays or closures, how risky it felt in reality, and whether the trip was still worth doing. I know mountain weather is unpredictable and nobody can predict conditions in advance, but any firsthand experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Sick of matrimony site proposals

30F - Registered in matrimony sites a year back but nothing worked out, reasons being incompatibility issues, asking for dowry in a subtle way, guys wanting me to quit my job and move to their house, guy not ok with me being in a relationship previously, etc. So I finally decided to give up and leave it to fate.

Room, Bathroom Renovation Work

Anybody know anyone who does room renovation work? Mainly need wall and ceiling work since it’s all worn out, plus bathroom extension. Not renovating the whole house, just one room. No tiles/flooring work needed. Looking for someone who can do the work neatly with good quality materials.

Last time we hired someone for another section of the house, they gave a small quote initially but the final cost became huge, plus there were lots of delays and mess. So looking for someone reliable and fair with pricing.
