Early WIP of a tactical WW2 roguelite inspired by Brothers in Arms. We got the commanding and suppressing fire mechanics working.

The plan is to make a co-op WW2 tactical roguelite inspired by the squad command and suppression mechanics from Brothers in Arm.

A big focus for us has been making commanding and suppression fire feel genuinely important, just like BIA did. Instead of units just trading damage or the player going full rambo, the goal is to pin enemies behind cover long enough for your squad to reposition and flank them (following the Find, Fix, Flank, and Finish idea).

Every soldier in your squad persists across the campaign, and if one of them dies they're gone for good so reckless orders or bad positioning can end a run very quickly.

We're also put in co-op multiplayer so you can share command with your friends. It's been fun testing it and needing to properly communicate to make sure none of your soldiers die to poorly thought out orders.

Still very early in development, but we wanted to share it here for feedback. We're really hoping this will capture that tactical command feeling that BIA created so well.

If anyone is keen to learn more or to come try an early build we would be happy to invite you into our testing discord
