Best Coffee grinder for Soup
Has anyone compared K ultra against ZP6 or C40 for soup ?
I currently use the Q air and was looking for an upgrade.

I mainly brew AeroPress and OXO Rapid Brewer, and might get a V60 later. I don't do espresso and have no plans to.
I mostly drink Indian origin coffees, from medium light to medium dark depending on my mood. I enjoy both clarity and heavier chocolatey cups.
I'm leaning toward ZP6 since I can use my Q Air when I want more body. I know ZP6 can produce very tea like cups, while K Ultra would be more versatile, but having Q Air + K Ultra feels somewhat redundant.
They are similarly priced in my region.
Which would you choose for my use case?
I currently own a Q Air heptagonal which I bought recently. I love brewing medium light roasts on Aeropress and also love occasional soup from my ORB.
From what I have heard ZP6 would be better suited for medium light roasts but I wonder would I be able to notice the difference in Aeropress/ORB compared to Q air.
If not ZP6 or K ultra then any cheaper alternatives which could up my game?
Ceramic/glass pour over set from hario starts at 3.2k
Is there a point of getting the OG V60 or these knock offs would work the same?
I am leaning towards glass/ceramic options since I feel I'm getting my fair share of microplastics from my aeropress and oxo.
What other options would u guys suggest?
I'm planning to apply to Materials Science and Engineering PhD programs in the US for Fall 2027 as an international applicant.
I have research experience in corrosion, electrochemistry, materials degradation, and additive manufacturing, So far, I have made a list of around 30-35 professors in this field.
A few questions I was hoping current PhD students and faculty could help with:
I'd appreciate any advice, especially from people in materials science, corrosion, or related fields.
