I bought this off FB marketplace at the very end of March. It’s super happy and has been putting out a ton of new growth. It lives right on this south-facing windowsill (2nd pic).
It looks like the original main stem was chopped off at one point. The remaining nub that sticks up looks a little weird to me, being a random point that leads to nothing. If I chop the main stem down to right above the highest branch, will it put out another branch?
Should I cut off this part (circled in red) or leave it alone?

I bought this Jade off fb marketplace. It looks very very healthy, except for these spots on the leaves. Can anyone tell me if I should be worried about these marks?
Some look like physical damage, but I don’t know what the other ones are.
Very lopsided, so I’m facing the bald side towards the sun from now on lol.
