Christian God is yandere?
So I saw this video explaining how Christianity sounds to an atheist (I can't find it anymore) and it was basically:
"So God loves you so much, that if you don't love him back, he would literally burn you"
And my first thought was:
“...Wait. God is literally a yandere.”
He's a YANDERE if you think about it, why did I never realize that? He will put you through hell that you can't escape IF ; You don't love him back, if you follow another God, if you follow his archnemesis (Satan), if you're not following his rules, and if you don't say sorry and repent.
Possessive.
Jealous.
“Choose me or suffer.”
Gets angry when you follow someone else.
Demands devotion.
Punishes betrayal.
Make you suffer for eternity if you don't come back and repent
Bro has peak male yandere energy and I can’t unsee it now. 😭 Is it time for me to have a religion? 😭
Disclaimer: This is not a debate post about actual Christian theology. I’m not Christian, and this is a Male Yandere subreddit. I’m talking about how the trope sounds when reframed in yandere logic.
PS. I grew up in a Catholic household.
