Why does Gaban lecture a swordsman on improving his conquers haki instead of his skill? Is Zoro going to give up on his dream if he continues improving his conquers haki, because he would then become a hakiman right?

Why is the better swordsman decided by who wins a fight instead of who has better skill? Isn’t Mihawks title about skill and not who’s stronger in a battle?

Why do characters like roger and rocks use 2 hands when fighting with their swords if using one arm makes no difference? Why didn’t they just use one arm and use a pistol with their other arm during god valley when fighting the devil?

Believe it or not, being skilled in combat actually makes you stronger. Why is this the only fandom on the planet that can’t seem to comprehend such a basic and obvious concept?

(CHAPTER 1184 SPOILERS) Another nod to Mihawk 🦅

Oda has made a lot of nods to Mihawk recently, reminding us, and especially the agenda piece fans, that he is not some forgotten and irrelevant character like they’ve gaslit themselves to believing.

There’s only a few characters in the series with their own specialized sfx’s. Brook has a bone design for his, and a few others I can’t recall at the moment.

But the only character that has ever had this specifically whale tail design that Candel was just introduced with, is Mihawk.
A design specifically made to resemble Yoru. This is not a coincidence.

And I’m not saying Mihawk is Imu’s son or anything, but the connections between the two are obvious. Maybe he is from the bloodline of a sibling of Imu that Candel eventually has a child with? And if there is no direct connection between them, I guarantee Yoru has a connection to Imu.

It would make sense why Imu used an attack with a sword like Yoru, the same way Mihawk did in marineford against Luffy. And why even the name of Imu’s attack can be made to have a direct connection to Yoru through the mythological inspiration for it.
