If I book a Multi City itinerary to avoid a tight connection, how many hours before American makes you pick your bags at Baggage Claim after Flight 1?
For example, Friday I fly to ORD and land at 9 AM. My connecting flight to Maui leaves at 10 AM the next morning. I assume 25 hours guarantees my bag will be at Baggage Claim in ORD, but what is the actual threshold, anyone know?
When pairing a HRM 600 that has Activity Tracking with a Forerunner 965, which takes precedent when recording a run with your watch? I'd obviously prefer the watch but do you need to disable anything to make these two work together without losing watch data in exchange for HRM activity data?
I've got a question about if booking an less than common itinerary is possible.
We are trying to get from Albany to Maui next year on American, but our preferred itinerary has us going from Albany to Chicago the same day as our connecting flight to Maui which only leaves us about 20 minutes to make the gate before boarding begins in Chicago. This is because of a change in flight schedule where the flight to Chicago used to leave at 6 AM and left plenty of connection time, but now they are leaving at 7:10 AM and that's cutting it to close for comfort.
Can American reps do an intineray where we leave to Chicago the day before and we spend the night and connect the next morning while already being there? That option isn't available when I check myself other than multi city itineraries which isn't really want I want.
