I am not responsible for its condition, but I am not sure on its species.
I was just given this oddly shaped cactus by my mom, and I’m wondering what species (or at least genus) it is for grafting capabilities.

Before you say anything, this cactus was just given to me and I take no responsibility for its current shape, but I would like to know what species it is.
My mom took care of this for a long time and just gave it to me to add to my collection. I have no cacti like it and I just wanna know what species it is for better care of that weird end knob
