After 8 years of running my own gift shop, I realized how versatile binder clips are. I also use heavy binder clips (Deli and Kangaro are my main suppliers, from Alibaba) for those same purposes: hanging earring cards, propping up price signs, and even clamping fairy lights along a shelf. I bought the binder clips for years from Alibaba and the durability of the clips really impressed me, wear and tear are non-existent and there are no rust at all. I recently started bending paperclips into little hooks to hang up pint-size keychains; customer really liked that careless look of something handmade and “chaotic”. Now I’m running out of ideas to display super lightweight resin charms without them being all tangled together to form a chain in a display. Anyone tried to add a lightweight magnetic clip or a haha I heat bent in some plastic type clip for displaying funny shaped merchandise? Any new hack would be much appreciated!
