Time Warp!

How did I forget about this gem for 20+ years!?!? This disc was always kept in the last slot of my CD holder in case I went to a stereo store or found another nerd with a killer stereo. Shoutout to Bjorn’s in SA around 1986. I’m quite sure I destroyed either a Mac tube amp or a pair of Polk SDA 1s with this CD.

Amazing that it just disappeared for me for decades. I’m freaking out.

Favorite position

Turned my listening room 90° based on EQ readings and ear test. Never actually applied any hi-tech room EQ because I have a very creative 5-channel EQ built into my Macintosh.

This setup is the best “room” I’ve ever heard, and I’ve had 3 houses with this same equipment.

Also - shout out to the quick things you can do to make the system sound great when the wife is away. Speakers out 3’, blinds down, coffee table out. Subwoofer up +1 (ya buddy)

Annika

Loved the drums last night in the building. Probably noticed 6-7 times I didn’t love the timing or noticed a change in a fill. But that’s it - and those were more than outweighed by the times I thought “man, she’s killing it” or “I can really feel the drum part right now”.

A++ from me, Annika. Favorite Rush show in a long long time.

Forum for Rush Show

Really enjoyed the old-school feel at Kia Forum last night for the concert. It felt like 1984 minus the cigarettes in there. Then modern sound and clever stage sets and lights. Thought the show exceeded expectations in every way.

Can’t Sell in Ticket master app

Anyone else having trouble selling their tickets on the app? I have 4 great seats from first Dallas show that I paid dearly for. App shows them in the for sale section, but then when I try to edit (ie, reduce price to sell) I get a message saying I have no tickets listed.

Also - can’t sell the parking pass? Gotta pay fees each direction? What a scam.
