Hi everyone,

I’m getting married soon and planning a honeymoon in Goa for 5 nights / 6 days. Need some honest advice and recommendations based on real experiences 🙏

Current Plan:

First 2 nights already booked at Soul Vacation Resort, Colva (South Goa)

Confused about remaining 3 nights

---

My Situation & Requirements:

Couple trip (honeymoon) ❤️

Budget is tight (mid-range, not luxury)

Want at least 1–2 nights with special amenities like:

Bathtub / Jacuzzi / romantic vibe (for honeymoon videos/photos)

Soul Vacation doesn’t have these, so planning something better for last part

---

Main Confusion:

  1. Should we:

Stay full trip in South Goa (peaceful, honeymoon vibe)

OR split → 2 nights South + 3 nights North Goa (for activities + nightlife)

From what I’ve read, people say South Goa is more relaxed and peaceful, but North Goa has more activities and vibe.

---

  1. Hotel vs Airbnb (for last 3 nights)?

Airbnb looks cheaper, but unsure about:

Cleanliness / safety / reality vs photos

Hotels seem safer but more expensive for bathtub/jacuzzi rooms

---

What I Need Help With:

📍 Stay Planning

Best plan for 5N/6D honeymoon itinerary

Should we shift base or stay in one place?

🏨 Budget Stay Suggestions (Very Important)

Looking for:

₹2k–₹5k per night range (can stretch slightly for 1 special night)

Clean, couple-friendly, safe

Bonus if:

Bathtub / Jacuzzi / Private pool

Near beach (not mandatory)

Any recommendations in:

South Goa (Colva / Varca / Palolem / Agonda)

OR North Goa (Anjuna / Vagator / Candolim)

---

Rough Plan I’m Thinking:

Day 1–2: Already South Goa (Colva)

Day 3–5: Either:

Continue South Goa (upgrade stay for honeymoon vibe)

OR shift to North Goa for activities + better stays?

---

Extra Questions:

Is Goa too hot / off-season in late May?

Are activities (water sports, etc.) operational?

Any hidden gem stays for couples?

---

Would really appreciate honest suggestions, not generic blog answers 🙌

Especially from people who recently visited or stayed in budget honeymoon-friendly places.

Thanks in advance! ❤️

Hi everyone,

I’m getting married on May 2026 in Maharashtra, and planning our honeymoon from May 19–25 (6N/7D). Looking for honest, experience-based advice—especially from people who’ve visited during this exact time.

We’re used to 43°C dry heat, so temperature alone isn’t a dealbreaker.

Option 1 — Mysore + Ooty

Trains booked

Hotels booked (Mysore + Ooty)

Nilgiri toy train booked

All bookings are cancellable

Internal travel still to be planned

Option 2 — Goa

Solapur → Pune (Vande Bharat) → Flight to Goa

Planning 4-star stay in North Goa (Candolim/Calangute)

Rental bike for local travel

Return via overnight AC sleeper bus

Main Questions:

For a honeymoon vibe (privacy + experience), which is better in late May — Goa or Ooty?

How crowded does Ooty get during peak summer vacation (late May)?

What’s the actual crowd + vibe in Goa around May 19–25 (before monsoon)?

Are water sports operational during this period or mostly shut?

Any good 4-star hotel suggestions in North Goa suitable for couples (off-season value)?

Is bike rental safe and practical for a couple new to Goa roads?

Would really appreciate inputs from people who’ve done either trip in May—especially for honeymoon perspective (not just sightseeing).

Thanks in advance!
