First trimester weight gain

I keep reading on here about all of the pregnancies where you guys gained no weight… what about the ones where you gained too much weight? 😩 I’m 11 weeks and I’ve already gained 20 lbs, because eating is the. Only. Thing. That keeps the nausea at bay. I lost 50 lbs before getting pregnant by taking a GLP1, and I’m sure that the increased appetite from being off it isn’t helping either. I have kept weightlifting and have had strength gains but it’s probably 3-5 lbs of muscle and the rest of fat. I’m eating healthy food, but way too much of it. The nausea is slowly going away and I can eat less, so I’m hopeful I can make it through the pregnancy without gaining much more weight. Has anyone had this experience? I feel so guilty and ashamed about it and am scared of going to my next OB appointment this week.

Suggest me a positive book about motherhood (any genre)

Hello! I’m looking for books that portray motherhood positively. It doesn’t have to be a main theme of the book, but I’m just looking for books where the mothers are generally happy to be mothers. I have read a lot of books that grapple with the realities of motherhood (Her One Regret, Mad Wife, stuff like that) and usually really enjoy those, but I’m currently in the trenches of the first trimester with my first pregnancy and I’m just not emotionally in the right place for that right now. I recently read The Shampoo Effect and loved how motherhood was woven into the book in such a sweet way. Would like more of that. Thank you!!

BFP chart!

Today is the day my period is due, so I’m posting my BFP chart! It’s my third cycle trying and tracking BBT. I had a VVVFL 7 DPO p.m. and BFP on a digital 8 DPO p.m. Thank you to everyone on this sub for sharing their charts and giving advice ❤️

Cloud watching from my backyard

Clouds I’ve seen from in the backyard of my apartment in the blue ridge mountains. I look forward to the sunset every day.

When do your progesterone tests turn positive?

Those of you who use the progesterone tests that turn positive at 5ug/ml (I think this is the threshold for most of the strips), when do yours turn positive? Mine have been positive 2-3 days after my LH peak and I thought they weren’t supposed to be positive until 5-7 DPO. Would love to hear experiences!
