Hyundai i20 Sportz – Dealer repeatedly delayed promised N Line kit. Now asking ₹61,000. What should I do?

Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a 2026 Hyundai i20 Sportz 1.2 MT from SS Hyundai. I need some advice on how to handle an issue with the dealership.
When I was planning to purchase the car, the N Line modification kit was discussed, and the assurance regarding its availability was one of the reasons I proceeded with booking and taking delivery and the price was 53k.
However, around a month after delivery, SS Hyundai informed me that the kit was unavailable. I raised a complaint with Hyundai, after which the dealership ordered the kit.
Since then, I have received multiple assurances and promised timelines, but the matter was repeatedly delayed. I had to follow up several times, and eventually SS Hyundai acknowledged the delays and inconvenience in writing. They even asked me to wait three days for a proper resolution, but no satisfactory goodwill solution was offered.
Now they have confirmed that the kit is available and sent me this quotation:
Parts: ₹40,500

Labour: ₹20,500

Total: ₹61,000

They are asking me to arrange payment to proceed with installation.
My concern is that, after repeatedly assuring me and delaying the matter, they are now expecting me to bear the entire cost. If the kit was not available or could not be provided as discussed, I feel this should have been communicated clearly at the beginning rather than after I had taken delivery and spent so much time following up.
However, I do have an email from SS Hyundai acknowledging the repeated commitments, delays and inconvenience.
I am now willing to contribute ₹25,000 (including labour )as a compromise and am even open to excluding the rear-side parts to reduce the cost. I am not willing to pay the entire ₹61,000 under the circumstances.
I have already sent multiple emails to Hyundai Customer Care and escalated the matter, but I am still trying to find a reasonable resolution.
I would appreciate advice on the following:
Is asking for the complete kit as a goodwill gesture reasonable in this situation?

Is my offer to pay ₹25,000 a sensible compromise, or should I avoid offering money at this stage?

Would registering a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) help, considering that the original assurances were mostly verbal?

Has anyone faced a similar issue with Hyundai or another dealership? How did you get it resolved?

I'm not trying to get something for nothing. I want the dealership to acknowledge the inconvenience caused and reach a fair settlement.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
