Type of options selling strategies would you deploy if you were to trade $10M portfolio.

Also any broker suggestions that lets us deploy any custom option selling strategy including naked C/P ?

Has anybody found an edge with pivots

I have been trading pivots with an unbiased approach but it helps in a number of ways to find reaction points on the charts.

The way I trade pivots is

-i calculate pivots for 4hr timeframe
- if price > CP I wait for the price to hit R1 and open short at R1 —-> Take profit is CP

Sl structure works like this

If the trade goes against me and price is not 30% above the r1 and 70% below the r2 ,I open a long TP at r2 ( catch here is the long is 1.7x the short )

If price reaches r2 I close both long and short at r2

Scenario where the price never reaches r2 and hovers back below r1 ,I open another short 2x size of long ,so the position becomes net long , Tp is CP

Vice versa for trades below S1

The size doubling criteria is limited to 3 iterations only starting with a 4% initial capital , hence limits the exposure to manageable levels

Style 2 ( works good with weekly pivots and large cap assets )

Open short at R1 -> Tp is CP

PRICE BREACHES 30% above R1 open long same size

Price hits R2 -> close long
-> add + 1 short ( same as short 1)

New tp for shorts - mid of r1 and r2

Netting a small profit

Scenario 2

Price breaches R2

Add another long 30% above r2 ( tp r3 for long )

Net positions 2 shorts and 2 longs

Price reaches r3 close long add short 3 ( new TP for short r2 )

SL - Price breaches r3 and it’s 30% above it , close all longs

Ending up with a net loss

Ways to refine the strategy but it works

Would love to hear from you guys , how you have been using pivots and if you have found any edge overtime
