I’m officially 1 week post op and this has been the most painful part. I had a genioplasty done as well so I’m not sure if it’s a combination of my stitches and braces or just the braces? Any tips would be appreciated

I can’t find a good setup that’s comfortable, right now I just have 4 pillows stacked and I brought up my couch back cushion as well but it doesn’t help. Open to suggestions

Also did anyone else’s eyes burn from all the oil their face produced after surgery or is it just me?

Sorry third post but I have nothing else to do but rant. I’m so sleep deprived, but am in so much discomfort that I can’t sleep. I had the nurses give me melatonin but unfortunately that didn’t work. Can’t wait to go home in the morning, I got 10 hours left here, hopefully I’ll be able to sleep better on my bed. Also the liquid Tylenol they give me every 3 hours is disgusting.

can’t believe the day has arrived, so many emotions, but i really hope i made the right decision by getting this surgery. My biggest fear is regret.
