I live in Maryland and I’m trying to buy a bayonet spike for a Norinco SKS and just got this message twice. I read the policy and I didn’t see anything related to restricting bayonets. Any ideas?

I want to get a tattoo centered around the idea of “two ships passing in the night” but I tried googling it for ideas and literally all I get is pictures of just single ship tattoos.
My tattoos are mostly patchwork and the original idea I had was two ships going in the opposite direction with a crescent moon above them but that’s TOO simple and I want to get something slightly more intricate than something you would find on a flash sheet.
