Fixing Over the top caused massive hook

Hi all

Just started to figure out my irons few weeks ago and the game has never been this good, i striked so pure and ball flight was a beautiful draw, although i have been unable to hit my driver to save my life ever since

watching my own swing i realized that the backswing was too steep and right arm was almost straight at top and releasing too early (which is less of a problem for iron than driver). So idecided to fix that to be able to play driver again, i did it by flattening club path and keep right arm bended thru impact. And ykw,now i have a massive HOOK and terrible ball flight, it wouldnt bother flying off the ground

Is it normal or did i just ruin my swing 😤

Edit: video is my swing pre-change
