Anyone else had really shitty service at Broadway pizza?
Been living in DTLB for almost a decade and never been there. Their menu looked really good so me and my friend decided to check it out today. We went in but there was no employee to greet us so we just kinda stood there and waited for her to come out of the kitchen. She finally came out after a few minutes and told us to seat ourselves. Fine. We sat down at a booth. She dropped a couple of menus on the table without saying a word. They weren’t very busy. We sat there for 10 minutes waiting for her to come over and take our drink orders or something, but no dice, she was too busy talking to one person at the bar. Eventually we lost our patience and left, on the way out I looked at her and said “awesome service!” And she says “thanks! Make sure you leave a review!”. I was shocked. This place generally has good reviews, but all the bad reviews all seem to mention this one particular employee, and I don’t understand how she still has a job there. I’ve never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant.
