Help for glitched graphics
Had a mvs 2 slot around that I hadn’t touched in years. Thing had a calendar error and a unibios can remove that error.
Installed unibios
Get garbled graphics. It’s only the sprites and the audio that’s having problems coming through.
Text is good.
What do I do?
Weirdly excited for the AES
How strange. I’m 35 years old and not much excites me anymore. And now I can’t wait till November. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.
For old games?! What’s wrong with me.
BENJAMMINS, I’m coming to you, in Los Angeles, at your house.
*or in the ring?*
NO — IN REAL LIFE
I need some help and the Facebook group is practically dead. Retropie subreddit isn’t much help either.
I connected a keyboard to my pi and this somehow overrides the arcade controls. Now I can’t figure out how to switch it back.
I can’t connect my pi to WiFi because my signal is not strong enough so I can’t do any changes over network.
I’m using emulation station and it’s connected over JAMMA if that’s important.
EDIT: I should've stated that this is AFTER WAVE 2
Just a shower thought: the first wave is stacked with bangers, including some of the best games in the lineup. The choices make sense too — a lot of these titles are either genuinely excellent or absurdly expensive to buy in their original form.
But starting with Garou: Mark of the Wolves creates a long-term problem. Once you lead with arguably the peak of the series, most of the earlier Garou/Fatal Fury games are inevitably going to feel like a downgrade. That makes me wonder how well later waves will sell, especially now that it’s been confirmed that prices could increase to maintain profit margins.
Personally, I don’t feel the need to own every Garou game. Most of the earlier entries feel clunky to me, and I don’t have nostalgia for them. Fatal Fury Special in particular does nothing for me, so I can’t justify spending 90 bucks on it.
That’s why I worry Plaion may have created an ouroboros for themselves: by leading with the strongest and most desirable titles, they risk making the rest of the lineup harder to sell at increasingly higher prices.
What. Were. They. Thinking.
Look, Magician Lord isn’t unplayable… but it sure tries it hardest to make you feel like an idiot for putting in a coin.
