What did you bring?

I’m moving to the Lazio region in a year to accompany my daughter who’s attending college there next fall and we plan to stay at least 3 years but likely longer. As I sit and brainstorm the million things circling my brain to get ready for a huge move, one question I keep asking myself is- what should I bring from the US and how do I bring it? I plan to sell all my furniture, car, large belongings and store a few meaningful pieces in the US. Obviously my clothes and personal items will come, but what about less obvious things like tools, linens, books? It seems likely that we will pack a bunch of big suitcases and take our belongings on the plane, and we will rent a mostly furnished apartment. How did you all navigate this? And if you brought bigger/heavier items, how did you send them to Italy? Thanks in advance!

Maintenance dosing?

I’m about 2 weeks out from my goal weight (if things keep moving the way they have been), and I’m desperately looking forward to tapering slightly to a maintenance dose and feeling more comfortable with the side effects (mostly not feeling like I’ve been hit by a truck for 3 days a week) but am wondering what dose I should choose for maintenance? I’ve lost the most steady weight at 2.5mg. Is that my maintenance dose? Or will I still have success maintaining at like 1-1.5?

Storm debris removal?

Is Ann Arbor doing any debris removal for the storm from this past weekend? I can’t find anything online and I’ve got some big branches

AC not working?

Update: my power is out in some rooms (including my AC) but not others. Anyone else?

I just got home from up north and my thermostat isn’t moving under 80 degrees despite it being set to 72 for the 4 days I was gone. Is it from the heat wave or did a power outage fry my central air? Anyone else having this issue?

Deceased dog on 94

Final update: I heard back from HVHS and it was in fact, a coyote. I feel relieved. Thanks everyone!

Update: I just got off the phone with HVHS and someone is going now to check and see if it’s a dog and if so, if they can find the owner. I caved and called them this evening. I feel so bad.

I was driving on 94W this afternoon around 5:00 just before mile marker 178 and saw a deceased dog on the right hand shoulder. I called the non emergency police and they said they aren’t going to pick it up, nor can DNR or the Humane Society. I feel terrible posting this, but I figured if someone is missing their dog they may want to check. Godspeed good buddy 😭

Hey y’all- I’m in a conundrum about whether to stay on Reta or go back to Sema. Some back story- I did 3 waves of Sema over the last 2-3 years, each time to lose the same 20 pounds. It worked great at low doses, the weight came off fast but the sides sucked- constant nausea and horrible insomnia. Regretfully I stopped when I got to goal weight and the weight slowly came back. Fast forward to 6 weeks ago- I’d been curious about Reta and finally pulled the trigger on a 5mg vial, thinking I’d try it to see how I felt before I bought more volume. Started at 0.5 and had terrible bathroom issues, but my source (trusted friend and peptide pro) urged me to keep going. I did 0.5 for 2 weeks, upped to 0.75 with no issues, and just took my second and last dose of 1mg last night, and have run out. Here’s the issue- this time around, I pledged to count calories and macros, move my body more, and really work at the weight loss; something I didn’t do while on Sema. I have lost exactly 2 pounds in 6 weeks while eating lean and clean 1,450 calories a day. For reference, I’m 5’7’’ and weigh 177 pounds. My goal weight is around 150. I’m really discouraged. At that calorie defecit alone I should be losing, even without the help of a GLP. I’m tempted to go back to Sema as it’s cheaper and has worked better for me, but I’m just not sure what to do and need to order more of something asap. Thoughts, ideas and advice welcome.
