Inexpensive 1680 gen spec cases?

Hello everyone!

I recently got into making watches and fell in love with the 1680 like most people, I ordered a Yuki 2824 dial but stupidly forgot that raffles cases are a lot larger than the diameter of a gen spec dial. I still want to put it to use and I was wondering if there are any cases that won’t break the bank that will fit it?

Thank you to anyone who can help :]

All Raffles 1680 build

I know it’s a dime a dozen but I’m new to all this turned out really good and I successfully got the keyless works to not break while building it, problem being I noticed a small spec of dust and took it apart only to break the keyless works then, oh well, gives me an excuse to get a different dial that’s not so yellow. Bonus is I get to experiment on the “broken” movement to learn how to fix the keyless works on future projects.

Aged the bezel using bleach

Aged the correct font using instant coffee which actually turned out great!

For the dial I used an alcohol marker and some matte paint

Hello! Just got done with my raffles 1680 build and will post about it when I get home from work, but I don’t really like the bright yellow lume pips all that much.

I was just wondering if there are any other variants that would fit a 2824 for a future build.

Thanks guys!
