So we’re 3 months away, and we have everything sorted and near enough paid for (catering day and evening, venue, venue dresser, registrar, band, my dress/ BMs and flower girls’ dresses, shoes, MUA and hair, accessories etc) but we haven’t got a florist.. has anyone just gone with dried flowers or no flowers before and if so did you regret the decision?
It seems to be a norm but I can’t justify the extra £600 on dried flowers via Etsy / £1k+ on a florist when they would literally be there to hold for 20 minutes.. the venue dresser are providing florals (fake) for the table decorations and an arch behind the top table, is it bad to not hold flowers or have your bridesmaids not hold flowers?
Planning on giving the flower girls little ribbon wands they can keep rather than scatter petals, and also planned on dried petal confetti for guests to throw after the ceremony.
Any constructive advice welcome, no shade though please I’m already stressed enough 🥲
