Looking for a book

Hi gardeners. I'm looking for a book with a month-by-month gardening guide for the whole year. I'm imagining it as an organizational tool and a source of ideas, including things to do during the slow months. I'm also imagining it as homesteading-esque. Any recommendations?

[personal] KP and physical health

Has anyone else noticed a correlation between physical health (nutrition and activity levels) and KP severity, or is it just me?

I’m asking because I noticed a change in my KP. I have KP on my upper arms. Within the past 6 weeks, I’ve started hitting the gym 5-6 days a week, and eating clean, healthy, mostly whole foods. I noticed my KP is much milder now. I got back into this health lifestyle for other reasons, but I’m pleasantly surprised by the outcome. Is this a coincidence?

Pastoral Reference importance for OT consideration

How important is a pastoral reference to the Catholic boards if I want to apply to their occasional teaching jobs? I’m baptized and raised Catholic but haven’t attended church in the past few years, so I’d need to start going immediately in order to start the process. I understand that pastoral references may only be granted after a few months, which I’m worried will leave me out of work if I’m not able to apply anywhere without it.

Is a pastoral reference the kind of thing that is required at some point or within a certain amount of months of getting hired, or is it absolutely necessary to even be considered? Does it depend on the board?

TIA. I’m hoping for LDCSB and/or HPCDSB

Do companies allow planned time off?

I am gearing up for my first season this spring but I have a wedding to attend in June in Ontario. Would a company still hire me and knowingly allow a few days off in a row, or would that not fly (especially as a rookie)? I was hoping to get a contract in AB or BC but logistically might be better off to try ON to minimize extra time off and travel expenses. I would be sad if this wedding affected my ability to work the job

Substance culture

I’m interested in tree planting but I’m not much of a drinker. Does every camp/company have a lot of drinking and substance use? I’m not strictly sworn off of it but I need to stay in moderation to perform well.
I guess what I’m also asking is what time off is like at camp.
