So my ex wants to pay a very small amount on what arrears he owes which is 14k. It blows my mind that this is something that is allowed. So he has the right to pay this off that will take years but I didn't have a choice in being financially strained all while he knew this was his child and choose to not help and delay things. My attorney said typically they pay 20% of what they owe. Is there any way to increase this and I just heard of interest for the arrears. Can anyone provide me some more insight on their experience with backpay?

What is something you wish you had added or didnt add to your support agreement?

Did your lawyer advise you on adding anything or just the basics that usually go on there? I feel as though my lawyer has checked out of my case.

How do I tell my boss to stop sitting in my office nicely? I work from home two days a week. He doesn't actually office out of my building; he comes there, and they have hotel spaces. My door is locked, and he asks the engineering team to let him in. I've hinted that I don't want my office used. How can I let him know I don't want him to use my office?

Edit* Just to be clear those of you stating the company owns the office. Yes, that's ture. However my name is on the door. This is my office it doesnt say shared or hotel. So He can sit there. Even when we have dedicated hotel spaces for this reason. So does that mean anyone can go sit in anyone's office when they wfh? That is what I'm understanding? I have never worked in an office with someone's name on the door and people just help themselves and sit there.
