Divine comedy

I just chanced on reading Purgatorio right after liber novus (read inferno last year) and so much clicked from LN. I just asked AI and it happened that Jung was immersed with the Divine comedy all the time he was writing liber novus. So yes, anyone who's enjoyed liber novus, go read purgatorio (I think it more meaningful and poetic than inferno personally but of course read the whole trilogy if you can afford it) - I used lombardo's translation, he kept the Italian original on the left side which I thought was cool (cool fun fact Invidia means both envy and lack of vision for you cant see yourself in others shoes when you're envious, nvdia anyways)

While Carl Jung is commonly typed by modern MBTI practitioners as an INTJ (Introverted Intuition-Extroverted Thinking), there is significant debate, with many arguing he was an INFJ (Introverted Intuition-Extroverted Feeling) or an Introverted Thinking type. He is consistently recognized as having a dominant Introverted Intuition (\(Ni\)) function.Key Perspectives on Jung’s Type:INTJ Argument: Supporters argue his dominant function was Introverted Intuition (\(Ni\)), paired with Extraverted Thinking (\(Te\)), focusing on creating complex, structured systems for his theories.

Self-Assessment: Jung classified himself as an "introverted thinking type," which, according to his own definitions, suggests high Introverted Thinking (\(Ti\)). However, this classification was within his own 8-type framework, not the 16-type MBTI system. Conclusion: The consensus leans toward him being a "Ni-dom" (either INTJ or INFJ), often considered to be an INTJ with well-developed Feeling functions or an INFJ with exceptional analytical abilities.
