Mini haul from Mandy 🛍️

Another day, another package!

I wanted to try a couple of Autumn ready pieces from The R*w, as well as a bag and belt because *why not* and here's what I went with with Mandy

Y*L Niki bag. Super good quality. It's kind of a dark peat colour and I think it complements the hardware so nicely. Great stamping and stitching. $197

The R*w tassel mule. Love these, they're really soft! Feel like they're perfect for the understated luxury vibe I was aiming for. Bargain @ $75

The R*w Liisa pumps. Pretty close to the original!! Really happy with these for $75

L*ewe belt. Really good quality leather and the hardware is great. Quite stiff but that's expected, I think it should soften up ok - $55

Mandy is a TS - she was so great, I asked for so many different prices and she was really patient with me. Kept me informed.

I got the prices for the final items I picked on 20th July. PSPs arrived 23-26 July. She sent me tracking by end of day on 26 July and it arrived with me in the UK 14th August.

Weekend casual haul from Serena

This morning my first haul from TS Serena arrived and I'm SUPER impressed. Would love to hear what you think

Al**a bag. Omg this is probably my favourite rep purchase so far. Beautiful quality. And $172!!!? Jesus I spend that on lunch. I am in love

GG trainers. Look at them!! They are perfect and so soft. $79. Absolute bargain

Mm ballets. Mega cute, soft, great stitching and sole. $78!

Ch*oe jeans. Love them, they're a bit short for me but because they're slightly wide I can style them like a culotte. Great quality - $57!

M**her tee. I've loved this print since seeing the original in Selfridges. The original has an additional label in the collar so it's not a totally true match but it's pretty close and I love it. $46

Little LV coin purse / cardholder. Again really great work on the stitching and stamp. I have the matching bag (genuine) and they're pretty close!! $71

Serena was great to work with and kept me informed the whole way. Anyway, how did I do?

I'm never going back

I kept hold of my bigger clothes as my weight dropped, even though they no longer fit me. I think I felt like I'd probably regain the weight eventually and need to go back into my old stuff, so I kept them like a weird safety net.

Today I feel like I've had an epiphany - I am not going back!

I just bagged up 5 bin bags full of clothes and dropped them at the salvation army bin. I feel good! I don't want to go back to being self conscious and achy and exhausted again.

Don't know why it took me six months to have this realisation.

How long did you hold onto your back-up / old clothes safety net?

5yr old daughter wants to be by my side 24/7

Ok "I just want to be with you" is a cute phrase but my just-turned 5 yr old daughter is so different to my older kids - I don't know if she's testing boundaries or if she's genuinely finding it hard to be away from me.

It starts with her sleep pattern. She sleeps ok, but getting her to stay in her bed is a nightmare, she'll complain she just wants to be with us. She has a great routine, goes to bed, but then she gets up every 5 minutes for the first couple of hours. We ask her what she needs, make sure she has everything. She makes excuses, gets upset.. the whole circus every single night.

She wanted to start swimming lessons with her friends. She's a good little swimmer and loved it, then during the fourth lesson she climbs out of the pool and refuses to go back in. I get called from the viewing area beside the pool to come and talk to her. Next lesson, same thing "I want to go home". It's like once she decides she's done with something, there is no changing her mind.

It's now the summer holidays and I booked her onto a few holiday scheme sessions nearby with her friends- talked to her about it first. She went to the first one today and when I collected her, she burst into tears and said she will never go there again. She actually told the instructor halfway through the day that she had "an appointment in town" and needed to go 😆. Again, she just wants to be with me.

She's generally pretty content and confident when she's at school, she has good friends and she is really caring and kind.

With us she is super keen on routine and doing things in a set way, doing the same activities rather than trying new ones independently. Our lives are pretty routine and calm, although she can be pretty emotional- she has tantrums and cries when things aren't exactly as she wants them. I talk to her about this but also recognise she's still only small.

Does anyone else go through this? I love her to pieces but the constant need to be by my side is something else. How can I help her to be confident enough to try things away from me? Or should I just let her work it out as she grows?

Mini haul from Ting 🔥🔥

Little haul from TS Ting

H shoes= beautiful quality, soft leather. I'm super happy with these, they fit perfectly and I feel like they were made for me

A shoes= also amazing quality soft leather. No bad smell, hardware and stitching flawless

Saint blouse = probably my favourite piece. It's so well made!

Lo*we trousers = these are also so good! I love them

Monc**r jacket = such a nice colour. Fabric thinner than I thought it would be but makes a great autumn jacket

Ce**ne tee = great fit and the detail on the collar and sleeves detail are a really nice surprise. Love it!

Process took around 4 weeks from start to delivery (but I ordered an additional pair of shoes after placing my initial order, so that slowed down shipping)

Ting is a sweetheart, she's quite quiet and at first I was a bit worried but in the end I'm happy with my haul and I'll for sure use her again!

Spent $463 which includes $55 shipping to UK

Review Hermès Constance mini

First post here but I spent a lot of time reading, researching and finding signposts from the awesome community here. I made some mistakes for sure (I didn't ask for factory info for eg!!), but I'm really happy with my purchase and I'm interested in what you think

I went with the constance mini as I love the shape and it just felt like summer!

I went with Mina 16 and I was honestly nervous throughout especially as we went through the CN holiday period at the start of May but she was great

Ordered 24 April

Paid $520 + shipping

Customisation slowed down shipping a little but this was communicated clearly

Got the photos from TR on 9 May

Tracking sent to me on 15 May

Arrived with me (UK) 23 May

Agent really communicative

Stitching to my untrained eye is beautiful. The clasp is solid and the inlay is a beautiful tortoiseshell. The leather quality seems very good and I'm happy with the stamp. Again though this is my first try so please tell me what you think!
