Anyone moved to Romania and how’s it going?

For context we’re a British and Romanian couple, both long term immigrants in Spain but looking for something new for our family.

I’ll apply for an EU passport next year so shouldn’t have any issues with moving elsewhere within the EU. For context we’re both working remotely and will continue to do so when we move.

We had considered moving to the UK which wouldn’t be an issue for me & my child but the process would be extremely time consuming and complicated for my husband and the cost of living is not feasible for us.

So we’re considering Romania, Cluj Napoca, Sibiu or Timisoara. Would love to hear anyone’s experiences living as an immigrant in either those cities or elsewhere in Romania. Thanks!

Moving back to the UK From Spain

Anyone made this same move and did you regret it?

For context we are a young family living in the south of Spain. I’m British but lived here for close to a decade.

I suppose it’s always something that’s been in the back of my mind. It’ll be much more complex for my husband due to Brexit but we’re willing to jump through the necessary hoops to make it work. Our child will be eligible for a British passport.

At a time when so many are trying to leave the UK for a better life abroad, am I out of my mind thinking of returning? I miss my family, friends, familiar language and humour, and possibilities for career progression.
