65” Bedroom TV under ₹70k (India): Sony Bravia 2 vs. TCL Mini-LED vs. Hisense Mini-LED?

Looking for a 65-inch TV for a moderately light-controlled bedroom. Budget is strict at under ₹70,000 INR.

My primary usage is watching movies/shows at night and light gaming on a PS4. Sideloading apps via Android/Google TV is a must for me.

I’m torn between these three options:

  1. Sony Bravia 2 (K-65S25): Heard the picture processing, motion, and upscaling are industry-leading, but it’s a basic direct-lit LED without local dimming. (Might stretch budget or wait for a sale discount).

  2. TCL Mini-LED (C6K or C755): True Mini-LED hardware with great dark-room contrast and local dimming.

  3. Hisense 65U7Q (Mini-LED): Great specs on paper and has a 2.1 Devialet sound system built-in.

4.Samsung Vision AI / QE1D (65" QLED): Great, reliable bright panel and sleek design, but it runs Tizen OS instead of Android, meaning I'd have to buy an external 4K Android stick to sideload my apps.

People keep telling me Sony's software processing looks better/brighter in showrooms, but will a basic LED look too grey in a dark bedroom compared to a Mini-LED? Does Sony's processing advantage hold up over the years even after software updates stop?

Would love to hear from anyone who owns these in India!

Streaming apps going down again

I have been seeing a lot of hysteria about streaming apps going down ppl saythis is writing on the wall for all apps and websites now after Spotify specially

But to me it feels like when PopcornTime went down, just curious how many people remember that and what are your thoughts

I believe there will be new once eventually its just mater of time
