Keyboard disconnects

To make a long story short I live in Iraq, power goes out frequently so I have a ups (offline ups) what my issue is: when the power goes out and the neighborhood generator starts due to unstable voltage the ups sometimes clicks and when the clicks happen the keyboard gets a brain freeze holds the last key pressed for a few seconds. Usb keyboard.

Pc specs

600w rampage psu

Arc b580

7800x3d

32 ddr5

3 different storage devices gen 4 nvme sata ssd sata hdd.

The mouse doesn't disconnect the headset doesn't disconnect either I am stomped I have never heard of such a thing happening before. I am thinking the culprit is my cheap psu but I wanted to hear other opinions first.

Update #2

So far the b580 has been a great upgrade to my old gtx970. I did experience screen tearing in slay the spire 2 if i enable the msaa. Other than that i tested bf6 ran smoothly bf1 ran smoothly as well. I have persona 4 and 5 and ni no kuni 1 and 2 also in the queue. I also installed a few emulators ryujinx for the switch and a pcsx2. I wi try to report back findings.

A game that ran horribly for me was apex legends no love lost though I was just testing it

Update #1

I have played so far poe1 ran amazingly, helldivers 2 ran like a dream, hades 2 isn't exactly a demanding game but it's nice to know indie titles run great and last but not least poe 2 runs great there have been artifacting but it runs ok I might need to fiddle with the graphics settings a bit more.

Ps does streaming on discord tank performance?
