Pickles vegetables, eggs with mayo, tomatoes, leftover corn salad, mozzarella with balsamic extract, strawberries, tomatoes, butter, the rest of my protein shake (gainzz) and last, but not least, the best bread I ever made so far (leftover pizza dough with garlic-herb salt). (Not that I've made a lot of bread. But I'm still proud)

Am I too critical?

I had my hair trial today and I'm disillusioned. The bun is very uneven (I wanted a messy/playful bun with some wispy hair but not that messy) and on the temple next to one of the braids my skin is visible. Which I told the hair stylist at the trial, do she fixed it, but when I came home it was visible again.

The strands of hair on either side of my head are not the same thickness, which was a conscious decision to see what looks better.

At the trial I was quite content but not overjoyed. But when I look at my hair now (especially the bun - I didn't notice it until I came home and looked at my photos) I don't feel pretty at all.

I chose this hairstylist specifically because she specializes in wavy/curly hair, but I don't feel good about that end product. Does not look like me and does not seem to "enjoy" the qualities of my hair.

Am I just too critical? Should I wait and let it sit for a fee days? Should I try another salon, which means more costs? (Since I paid for this trial) My wedding's in august, so I still have time.

Tl;dr disappointed with hair trial: bun is uneven, skin is visible besides braid at the temple. Am I too critical or should I look for another salon?

So we ordered those curtain hooks (riktig) in 2020 (right) and in 2026 and the difference is baffling. The older ones are so much sturdier, more symmetrical and lack the jagged edges the new ones have. (2nd photo = 2026, 3rd photo = 2020). The newer ones also feel lighter. Did they change materials?

I'll try to chat them up tomorrow (customer service's closed now) but I don't expect much
