Need Help, please

Hello everyone:
I need your help with a quality control (QC) check on this bag from Marko. Overall, I think he did a very good job.

What stands out to me is the following:

  1. Silueta: It has a very good silhouette, which was my main concern when ordering a Kelly replica.
  2. Leather: This is my first Kelly from "Red." The leather looks a bit flat, but I need to see it in person to see if it has more depth than what is shown in the photos.
  3. Technical Details: The handle looks well-made; it is not excessively thick and doesn't look artificial.
  4. Accessories: The sangles and clochette have a good shape, and I don't see any poorly cut stitching.
  5. Stitching: The stitching looks fine, although it does appear a bit too uniform. However, only people who buy replicas really look at the stitching; I don't think anyone on the street is going to notice. I don't see any glaring issues or red flags.

Regarding the hardware, it looks okay, though I think I will ask for upgraded hardware on my next bag. The heat stamp is probably the most improvable part, as the lettering looks a bit thicker than usual.

That being said, I still think it is a very good job. I know it will never be exactly the same as an authentic one, but I am happy with it.

What made you start buying reps?

I buy gen. And I started buying reps for the following reasons:

Herm: I’m tired of them acting like they get to decide how my time and money are spent. They choose, but I’m the one paying. My rebellion comes in the form of replicas that even they can’t detect themselves.

CC: I went to their Barcelona boutique and was treated poorly because I was “only buying a pair of €1,200 shoes.” My revenge comes in the form of a fake. I haven’t bought my rep yet, but I’m working on it.

LV: once again in Barcelona, a sales associate was quite rude when I asked a few questions about the Alma. Now I have a wonderful Alma rep in my closet.

Luxury brands need to understand that if they don’t provide a true luxury experience, people will turn to reps because they are getting better and better, and increasingly difficult to distinguish from the real thing.

I’m perfectly willing to spend €6,000 on a luxury bag if the buying experience matches the price. If it doesn’t, I’d rather pay a fraction of that for something that offers comparable quality.

Looking for high quality Chanel ballet flats for large feet (27 cm)

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a good pair of Chanel ballet flats, but my foot is around 27 cm and I’m struggling to find sellers that offer larger sizes with accurate shape and good quality.

I’m mainly looking for:
accurate Chanel ballet flat shape
good leather quality
correct toe box proportions
comfortable fit
true sizing for 27 cm feet

If anyone has bought Chanel ballet flats in larger sizes, I’d really appreciate seller/factory recommendations and 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you!

This is how top tier reps look over time

Long term wear update on some of my higher tier reps after actual use:
H bag: 3 years
L bag: 1 year
LV piece: 2 years

I also try to take decent care of them. I use bag inserts/shapers to help maintain the structure (except for the L bag), and I do a leather conditioning treatment at home about once a year to keep the leather hydrated.

Honestly, what surprised me most is that some higher tier reps actually started looking more natural with wear.

The H bag especially lost that slightly “too fresh from factory” appearance over time. The leather relaxed naturally, the handles softened correctly and the hardware became less mirror shiny, which honestly made it look more convincing overall.

The L bag has held up beautifully. The leather stayed soft, the slouch looks very natural, and the overall feel became even more lived-in without losing its charm.

The LV piece probably surprised me the most structurally. I expected glazing or handles to go first, but it held shape much better than expected after 2 years.

These weren’t babied, but they also weren’t abused. Normal use, travel, storage, daily handling, etc.
There are still flaws if you inspect closely:
hardware tone
edge paint thickness
stamping precision

But I honestly think good reps often age more naturally than people expect.

Funny thing is:
I can’t even remember where the LV piece originally came from
The L bag was literally bought in Bali,
and the seller of the H bag, who was not from Reddit, disappeared with €1000 from my next order 💀

So this post is genuinely just about long term wear and aging, not sellers.
Curious if anyone else noticed higher tier reps improving visually after use instead of getting worse.

G&S fee but F&F payment?

Has anyone dealt with this seller before?

I asked to pay via PayPal Goods & Services and agreed to cover the extra 5% fee.

The seller calculated the fee, confirmed the total, and said the price had already been increased by 5%.

But when it came time to pay, he told me to use Friends & Family instead.

I understand some sellers only accept F&F, but adding a G&S fee and then asking for F&F feels off to me.

Would you consider this a red flag?

Newbie questions about H sellers

❓Hi Divas,

I’m really new here and I think I need a little help.
Sorry if any of these questions are inappropriate, but I’ve spent the last two days reading posts and it has left me with a few doubts.

What is the usual price range for a top quality H bag?

What questions should I ask a seller before ordering?

Is it considered rude to ask about the type of leather (for example imported or not), hardware materials, etc.?

I’ve already read the welcome guides and they’ve honestly been very helpful, but I still have these questions.

Thank you so much!
