How to solve attribution?
I run a marketing agency, and one of the main things that I want to be able to show clients whenever we work with them is exactly how much money we made them.
My thought is that if you can show directly how you brought this number of booked appointments that converted into this number of revenue. Then they will be less likely to leave you, and they will want to spend more money with you, so you can raise your fee.
We currently use all of the standard attribution tools:
- Google Tag Manager
- GA4
- CallRail/Call Recording
- UTM parameters
But I still feel like there's a considerable gap in what we have versus the result that we deliver. For example, if someone interacts with one of our ads and then a week later they come back and call the Google Business Profile, we have no way of showing that. And I understand that there's going to be some amount of fall off, but I was just hoping to learn more about how you guys have solved this issue.
I have looked into attribution tools like What Converts and a couple of others. But I was wondering maybe what some of you guys have done to solve this issue.
