The dark side of ADHD that no one talks about

What are symptoms, mental health issues, or overall debilitating struggles that you have with ADHD that no one talks about?

I often see a lot of hilarious videos of the funny things about ADHD (being wild, funny, etc…) and I feel like sometimes it creates a hilarious and positive vibe of what it’s like to have ADHD. To be clear, I think that’s amazing and there should be awareness about the positivity with ADHD, because it’s important to remember that. Even though you have this diagnosis, you can experience life and enjoy it without feeling like you’re broken. But I feel like people also don’t talk about the dark side of ADHD that is almost debilitating. I think it’s important to remember that to spread awareness that it’s OK to feel this way and it doesn’t mean you are alone.

So let’s talk about it. What are some struggles you deal with having ADHD that people don’t often talk about?
