What is the longest time period that you remained naked? Under what circumstances or conditions?

On of the best times I spent was in 2009 at a nudist retreat in the Malibu Hills in California, where I remained naked for 9 days straight. I would wear footwear, if needed, but nothing else other than a smile. In spite of getting food poisoning one day at the retreat, I still had a great time.

"The Persian Boy" by Mary Remault

This is classicfiction, but in the U.S. is always under rated. It is the story of Alexander the Great, told from the viewpoint of a Persian boy who was sold into slavery after the rest of his family was betrayed and slaughtered. He is taken in by Alexander when Persia is conquered by him, and the boy becomes a part of Alexander's court as Alexander tried to conquers the world.

Mary Renault wrote many books of historical fiction, as well as a nonfiction book about Alexander the Great. She (mostly) lived in South Africa, which is why much of her writing isn't that well known in the U.S.

When it's time to leave the nude beach or nudist club, don't you hate having to put your clothes back on?

I've noticed what seems to be a universal feeling among naturists/nudists. When it is time to go home, it seems we all hate to put our clothes back on again.

I think my happiest nudist experience was when I was able to remain naked 24/y at a nudist event for 9 days straight. I also appreciated how little Ihad to pack for that trip...

Books I like to read again

I've read 1,000's of books, but there are two books which I like to pick up again after about 5 or more years have passed.

The first is "Shogum" by James Clavell

The second is "East Of Eden" by John Steinbeck.

What books do you like to return to every once in a great while?

Is there one book which really turned you on to reading? What was it?

When I was in high school, I was assigned to read "The Pearl" by John Steinbeck. It's a short novella written more like a fable, but for some reason, I really like it and it started me on my way to reading 1,000's of books over the years.

Another assigned book from later in that same class was "Watership Down", which I also greatly enjoyed.

Was there a memorable book which started you on the path of beign an avid reader?

What kind(s) of nude recreation do you enjoy? Please include your age and gender.

I've noticed reading on various sites that different age groups tend to enjoy different kinds of nude recreation when engaging in social nudity. Please share what kinds of nude recreation you enjoy when engaging in nude recreation, along with your age and gender.

What kinds of nude recreation would you like to try or engage in that you haven't tried yet?

As for myself, 63, male, the nude recreation I participate in most often are nude hikes in secluded areas with few textile hikers. I also participate in skinny dips, naked bike rides and I also visit clothing optional spas. both separated by gender and coed. I will also lay out to tan in the backyard while listening to audio books. I've been to several nude beaches and a few nudist clubs.

When I lived alone, I was naked at home all the time. I think cleaning the house naked makes the chore a lot more pleasant.

I've wanted to do naked bungee jumping or naked sky diving, but I am frugal by nature and I don't think the experience I'd get would justify the expense.

If I ever get back into running, as I used to do when I was younger, I'd like to run in a naked 5K. I stopped running because I had leukemia and it took years of cancer drugs which drained me to get into remission.

I think it would also be fun to go naked white water rafting. Naked boating or even canoeing would also be fun.

I hope this exchange of ideas helps people find new ideas and ways to enjoy nude recreation and social nudity.

Answering the door naked...

I've read how some nudists at home answer to door naked, either on accident forgetting they are naked, or on purpose... Usually when they already know who is at the door.

When I lived alone, I have answered the door naked myself when I knew friend who had no problem with nudity was at the door.

I have thought I'd like to answer the door naked when missionaries or religious zealots come knocking...
