Pixel phones not working with NFC tags - ongoing?
Does anybody know if an update has been released yet to fix the issue from the last few days - where Pixel phones seemingly didn't work with all NFC check-in tags?

I think I made a post about this before, but this is another warning to newer riders (or those who were not aware). If JustEat splits an order for a driver - usually at a supermarket due to size/weight - they will give the second rider a completely different order number to the original order that has now been split.
In other words, you will turn up and wait for 20 minutes+, only to find that the bags in front of you (with a different order number to the one on your app) ARE what you should be collecting. 🤦
The only way you can discover this is to ask JustEat on chat (good luck!) - or if a staff member prints out the original order receipt so that you can check the customer's address.
I remember a few years ago there was a brief moment on UberEats where we could see all of our rider statistics - acceptance rate, cancellation rate etc, before they suddenly hid everything from us again.
Now that Roo are being so strict about orders being accepted and then rejected - firing out warnings, and locking us into deliveries that are supposedly 'ready' - I was thinking that it might be helpful if we could all see these statistics on our app.
They could then at least give us a rough idea of what we should be doing to at least avoid account warnings/terminations. Like, if your 'accept and then reject' order drops below 80% for the month then you can expect a warning etc.
I would genuinely love to get some anonymous feedback from people who currently work (or have worked) 'higher-up' in the company.
Have things changed dramatically for you guys after the DoorDash takeover? Do you think that that the general public's view of Roo has changed over the years? Do you actually order food yourself on the app? Have you heard of any bizarre rider or customer issues etc?
Honestly, this isn't a set-up - I have always just been quite curious to hear what it's like for guys - if you like the job, the company etc. Thanks!
Chapter 1
Post-nuclear war - you exit the shelter after many years of hiding, many years of eating beans and drinking your own piss (even though you had a working water tap the whole time). The sunlight burns your eyes as you step outside. Your lungs ache as you breath in the dusty air.
Suddenly you hear something approaching. As your eyes begin to focus in the dazzling light, you see a flash of turquoise - the sound of whirring and clunking, and with it, the smell of rot - like a thousand spilled milkshakes left in the sun.
'Code?'
The first human voice you have heard for years. Your brain struggles to form a sentence. "I...I...who are you you?"
'Code?' the person repeats, coldy. Your heart skips a beat. Before you stands a f#ck-off big mutant-hybrid of flesh and phone. Where his legs should have been are wheels. A Deliveroo bag juts from his back - seemingly fused to his skin. Protruding from his stomach is a huge bicycle battery - the type those lazy tw@ts used to use on their illegal ebikes, before the nukes fell. You remember.
'Code?' the pitiful creature croaks once more - he frantically waves his fleshy phone hand in front of your face. His stomach battery excitedly hisses and sparks.
'Fuxk off, mate - you've got the wrong address'.
You turn and re-enter you shelter - before sitting down and pouring yourself a hot glass of urine.
Anybody else received one yet? I have barely accepted and then rejected any orders today as it hasn't been busy enough to be majorly picky with orders. Looking back I think two of them were for Sainsbury's orders that were too large for my bag/bicycle combo.
Does anybody else really struggle to get the JustEat facial scan thing to work in sunnier weather?
I mean, it's always dogshit anyway, especially in comparison to Roo and Ubereats, but do you guys have any recommendations to get it to work - other than wait until the sun goes behind a cloud? 😅
I know we shouldn't judge others - we are all Jebus's children etc - but a (now ex) rider used to regularly ask customers if he could use their toilet when delivering to them.
If he had delivered to me, and then asked to use the loo, I definitely would have told him that he couldn't - is that harsh? 😅
I know how frustrating it can be at times when you're busting for a pee and all of your orders are suddenly from shops or restaurants that have no facilities, but still - it's why we all have bladders of steel, right?
Hey, folks. I never really expect my JustEat to be mega busy - especially with the nicer weather etc. Roo is ticking over okay, and the odd UberEats order, but I haven't had any kind of order from JustEat for a few days now - not even a horrendous double or 15 miler.
Anybody else experiencing this? Have I been blacklisted? Does the acceptance rate suddenly actually contribute to the amount of orders you receive? Or is my app just broken?
