For starters, I'm completely new when it comes to this sort of thing. I've already done some research and reformatted the (2gb) micro SD card in the R4. This is a v1.4 R4 cartridge with the R4i-SDHC.com label from probably a decade ago at this point.

So far my deduction is that this cartridge had worked for the DS Lite series of devices which I do not own anymore. Something about the SD card of the dsi and the R4 cartridge makes reading it fail?

So here's my question. Should I buy a new R4 cartridge or do I have to homebrew my DSi for this to work? What are my options?

So this is the second time my Xbox has done this. Once is a strange happening. Twice is something wrong. I've done multiple restarts like last time, but it hasn't fixed it at the time of this post. Changing the display resolution in the system settings results in the green screen mess. Loading a game does not fix it either. I hope my Xbox isn't quitting on me. I've had the console for the last 6 years. Any suggestions?
