Missouri Mermaids, places to swim, and Natural bodies of water recommended???

Hi guys, I am from MO, and I want to get into mermaiding. I have for the longest time, been using fin fun mermaid tails, and now I want to save up to buy a professional silicone tail. That's not the problem though.

Since I live in MO, there aren't very many safe lakes/bodies of water that are safe if not any to swim in. Due to Ecoli, and other things like brain eating amiba and so on, I am scared that I won't be able to get the usage of my tail that I really strive for. With my Fin Fun tail, I already rarely use it due to the fact that most pools don't allow it. Does anyone have location suggestions, or tips and insight in general? My mom is also iffy about it because of these reasons, and I want to stay as safe as possible.

Are any of these AG dolls?

Growing up, I used to think that I had American girl dolls as a kid, but now looking back on the photos, I really am not sure. I think the one in the first photo is a Madame Alexander Dolly and Me doll, but I am not 100% sure. I wasn't in a financially stable household, so I would always get my toys second hand. Anyone know?

Update: Many of you are saying the third one is an American Girl doll, which makes me happy that at least I did have one as a kid and didn't miss out. Sad part is, I think I may have given her away in a donation box years ago... Truly heart breaking! I do have two brand new Our generation dolls, (out of the box) that I may sell eventually so that I can get an American girl doll soon. My "dad" got me them, because AG dolls are so expensive. But two HAS to at least be the same price as getting me one that is used! So, I am a bit upset about that. At first I wasn't as I didn't know the COMPLETELY different quality between the two doll companies, but when I got them out of the boxes and started touching their hair, it was immediately falling out and had lots of bald spots. Turns out Our Generation dolls have the hair rooted into the plastic instead of wigs. The hair is one of the main reasons why I love AG dolls! I am currently satisfied with one of the dolls, just extremely upset I can't play with her hair. Plus, I prefer chubby cheeks. Alas, soon I may be able to find one to my likings.

American girls but smaller? Or Wellie Wishers?

I saw these dolls on Pinterest, and obviously the larger ones are American girls, but the smaller ones are REALLY throwing me off. I am new to the community, so I really don't know much, but as far as I know there are no smaller ag dolls.
